Claire Baker
Claire is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice encompasses painting, installation and printmaking.
She has just completed a solo show in the third room; the exhibition called 'Landfill to Life' brought old discarded objects back to life with a new found identity. Her aim was to inspire interest in recycling junk into artwork.
Claire has also created a range of sculpted jewellery under the name of Clarence Comstock. They are individual pieces of art for the body. She uses silver, copper, semi-precious stones and archaeological finds dating back 12th century.
