Maggi Gooding

I studied ceramics at Penwith College and Penzance School of Art.

I love clay and its creative possibilities. I enjoy working with stoneware and red earthenware clay, making a variety of forms.

To make the very small pots, I throw "off the hump". This means throwing a series of pots from the top of a cone of clay.

I use a small palette of glazes and oxides to decorate the pots.
