Serena Gwynn
I learnt the stained glass methods of copper foil and leaded lights whilst living in Cairo in the 1980’s. After 20 years in the Middle East and Africa I returned to Penzance to live in the house originally owned by my Grandmother.
My lamps, mirrors and panels are inspired by our surroundings in West Cornwall, combined with the glass itself. I have recently been learning to use kiln fired glass stains and also acid etching.
Currently my ceramic work involves using coloured slips to decorate earthenware.
